By accessing or using Auditor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Auditor provides an AI-powered security auditing platform that delivers context-aware security rules based on your technology stack. The Service integrates with AI coding tools to provide automated security analysis and recommendations during code review.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Auditor and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any code or content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant Auditor a limited license to process and analyze it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Service are available on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled at our discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Auditor does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Security recommendations provided by the Service are advisory in nature and do not guarantee the absence of vulnerabilities in your codebase.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auditor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
